If you have any recommendations for good holiday books not included on my list, please post the title and author's name in the Comments for this post.
These are great holiday recommendations! The only Christmas book I can think of to add is a delightful (and hilarious) picture book by Sandra Boynton, "Bob and 6 More Christmas Stories." Thanks for all of the wonderful posts this year, and have a great new year!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words about my blog posts for 2020. I wish you a great new year, too! I have not read the book you mentioned, but I remember several of her other books from my teaching days. When I looked her up on Goodreads just now I discovered she has several Christmas books, so now I've added those to my TBR list for 2021. Take care! :0}
ReplyDeleteGreat list, June. I've bookmarked the page so I can go back to it many times in the future. Thanks for featuring the books on our final MMGM of 2020. Have a happy and healthy 2021.
ReplyDeleteHello, Greg ~ I'm genuinely honored that this post found its way onto your bookmarks. You're welcome, and I wish you and yours a healthy, happy New Year! :0}
DeleteWonderful list, June. I hope you are enjoying your holidays. There is a book you might want to take a look at for next year's list. When I was a child, we loved a book called The Birds Christmas Carol by Kate Douglas Wiggins. It seems like a story right up your alley. I checked and you can get it on Kindle for 99 cents if your library doesn't have it. Happy Holidays to you.
ReplyDeleteHi, Rosi ~ Thanks for your suggestion. I found this story in a collection of children's plays in our library's collection. Hooray! I'm glad you liked my list of books. We are enjoying our holidays. Hope you and your family are well and have enjoyed your holidays this year, too. Happy 2021, Rosi. :0}
