The setting for my contemporary inspirational romance book, 'Robin's Reward',  is the fictional town of Bonita Creek, California, located in the coastal mountains of the magnificent Mendocino Coast in Northern California. Here's a photo of the Pacific Ocean taken from the botanical gardens in Fort Bragg, California, one of Robin's favorite spots to visit.

The main character, Robin Bennett, is the town's librarian and a master gardener. She loves flowers even more than she loves books--and that's saying a lot! The book opens with Robin working in her front garden on the first day of spring. Here are some flowers she might find blooming in her garden on March 20th.

Lots of other interesting and exciting things happen to Robin throughout the year, but the next spring is where the book ends. So I guess you could say spring is Robin's favorite time of year!
