MY THOUGHTS:
As you may have guessed, this is a beautifully-aesthetic book with Disney's usual high-quality projects, graphics, diagrams, ideas, and photography.
On the 'Before You Begin' page there is a yellow sidebar with a caution symbol which is an 'Important note to parents and carers.' {Side note: I have never heard the term, carer, so I looked it up on the online Oxford Dictionary, see entry shown below. I love learning new vocabulary words!}

Parents and carers are cautioned about supervising their youngsters while working on the crafts and activities included in the book.
The first part of the book is dedicated to safety, materials lists, and tips on how to use the templates, etc. There is a sidebar on the second page titled, 'Go Green!', which encourages learners to use recyclables for their projects whenever possible.
The book is divided into five sections: 'Make-Believe', 'Games', 'Art', 'Activities', and 'Craft'. Each section contains between 14 and 24 projects with stepped-out instructions, diagrams and/or photographs, and tips. References are made throughout the book to various Disney film projects spanning from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs forward through Frozen.
There are appealing projects and activities for children of either gender preference. Projects from diverse cultures around the world are also included: a Flower Crown from Polynesia, Papel Picado for the Day of the Dead in Mexico, Pocahontas's necklace, Animal-Feet Stilts from Africa, Cupcake-Liner Lei for Hawaii, Mushu Shadow Puppet Project and Mulan's Training Camp Game for China; and Baymax Origami from Japan!
My favorite projects included Buzz Lightyear's Wings, the Fairy Garden, Cinderella's Reversible Apron/Ball Gown, Winnie the Pooh Felt Finger Puppets, Cardboard Car Costumes, Elsa's Sparkly Cape, a Pumpkin Coach (made from a real pumpkin), and the Seven Dwarf Pins Bowling Game.
This book has much to offer for those looking for rainy-day projects or birthday party ideas for children.
Highly-recommended to parents/grandparents/carers, youth group/church group leaders, youth camp organizers, teachers, librarians, and anybody who loves hands-on activities which are colorful, appealing, and maker-friendly.
I borrowed this book from the non-fiction shelf in the New Books section of the children's collection at the local public library.
