“Hunter, help me. I’m going to fall. I can’t hold on much longer.” Her frantic voice reached up to him. He stopped short and realized a sheer drop-off was inches from his feet. Hunter peered through the snow and saw Hope hanging on to a decaying tree branch a few feet down.
