MY REVIEW:

An excellent conclusion to a brilliant series . . . 

 

Lisa Harris one of my favorite Christian romantic suspense authors, and this US Marshals series is my favorite series by this gifted author.

The emotionally-charged beginning of this novel knocked me flat because it was not at all what I expected! My attention was captured on page one, and isn't that the perfect way to kick-off a suspense novel?

Young Becca is way out of her league in her emotional entanglement with Robert. She's inexperienced, naive, and supremely angry. Add in a jealous woman and a lot of villains who are after her and you get a tale filled with a multitude of red herrings, twists, turns, and dead ends.

 

When US Marshals Madison James and Jonas Quinn enter the picture, things get a whole lot more complicated. As these two experienced law enforcement officers and their colleagues try to solve the crimes and find the missing persons they are looking for, readers are treated to a tension-filled, action-packed plot that does not let up until the final page.

 

The romance between the lead couple in this story is unique and sweet. The faith thread is deftly woven into the fabric of the plot by the author at every turn. 

 

This book is completely clean in language and content.
